Sisterhood Signing with RC Cavinti

During the Induction Ceremony of RC Cavinti last September 2, 2016, ASP Jay Estrellado of RC Cavinti invited ASP Wen Parducho for a sisterhood signing between the their clubs. The signing did not happen because the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was not yet ready; thus, it was postponed for later. Nevertheless, ASP Wen shared and proposed a tie-up project with ASP Jay RC LB Makiling’s project entitled “Rotary Wheels-on-the-Go” wherein the make-shift wheelchairs assembled last September 24, 2016 (see Luntiang Tanawin Vol 16 No 4 ) are to be distributed among beneficiaries residing in Laguna.

ASP Wen and RTN Gelli Parducho went to Cavinti last October 23, 2016, to accompany RC Cavinti in the wheelchair distribution to the selected beneficiaries in their area. After which, they gathered at Flordeliz, where RC Cavinti hold their meetings, and officially signed the MOA. ASP Wen is thankful that ASP Jay accepted the partnership even before the MOA and hopes that the two clubs to have more tie up projects in the future.

Sisterhood Signing with D3800 RC Pasig Sunrise

The Club was invited by the Rotary Club of Pasig Sunrise from District 3800 to attend their Induction Ceremony and renew the sisterhood agreement between clubs last September 1, 2016 at One Shangri-la Place, Ortigas, Metro Manila. The ceremony was attend-ed by ASP Wen Parducho, PP Lisa Ronan and RTN Gelli Parducho.

The sisterhood between clubs started back in 2010 and was initiated by PP Lisa Ronan and her fellow high school alumna ASP Jose "Pepe" de Silva. That year, both clubs collaborated on a project that benefited their alma mater. That was the first and last collaboration between clubs since the sisterhood agreement was not renewed; but this year, they graciously agreed to renew the agreement and both clubs promised better partnership and more fellowship for this year and the coming years.
